Tomas Hornos/Enrique Quintero Snipe World Champions - The North-American Tomas Hornos/Enrique Quintero are the new Snipe World Champions. The title was won today at Leixões. The TMN Snipe World Championship's most outstanding feature was the hard sailing conditions allowing only three races to take place.   Diogo Cayolla/Rui Castilho were the higher ranking Portuguese, finishing the Championship in 7th. One day left until  the Champioship finishes - There is only one day left for the TMN Snipe World Championship, ending tomorrow at Leixões. Once again the wind played a decisive part by not blowing strong enough for any race to take place. The Japanese keep their lead Kenji Abe/Hiroshi Yamachica. Gonçalo Guerra/Tiago Guerra remain the best qualifying Portuguese crew, ranking 14th in the overall provisional results.  (+)

Kenji Abe/Hiroshi Yamachica reaffirm the Japanese dominance - The fog and the barely blowing wind were the day's special for the TMN Snipe World Championship, taking place until Saturday, at Leixões. The Japanese crew Kenji Abe/Hiroshi Yamachica won the only race of the day and took the lead in the overall provisional results. The Japanese fleet keeps putting on a show with three crews clinging to the top 5. Gonçalo Guerra/Tiago Guerra is the best qualifying Portuguese crew, ranking 14th. (+)

Tomas Hornos/Enrique Quintero Win first race of the World Championship - The North-American crew, Tomas Hornos/Enrique Quintero, won the first race of the TMN Snipe World Championship, taking place until next Saturday, at Leixões. The United States double-hand crew faced some fierce competition against the mighty Japanese fleet, but managed its way to triumph under weak winds. (+)

 Second Day - The second day of the championship is about to start but the weather forecast remains unpromising with shifty W winds blowing 2 to 8 Knots. However, the day’s goal is to have three races, the first starting at noon.
